I have owned both the MDS and currently the Losmandy version of this mount. It is great for attaching a DSLR or camera with a short lens. It is not quite so good if you try to attach a longer lens like a 200-300mm as the connection is only through a single screw.
It would be better if there was a system to lock the camera from rotating in the mount but as I say this is only really an issue with longer lenses attached.
The convenience of being able to hop your camera on and off your scope is great.
