Enables a Vixen/Synta type dovetail to fit a Losmandy style saddle.
Features a 6" Vixen/Synta saddle on a 7" Losmandy style plate. The Vixen saddle is a split clamp design that locks onto the dovetail bar along the entire surface of the saddle. The split clamp is spring loaded and features large locking hand knobs.
Manufactured from premium quality black-anodized 6061 aluminium and stainless steel.
I owned one of these to convert my CGE mount to the Vixen style fitting. It gives the vixen style dovetails a firm grip along their entire length rather than just where a couple of bolts bite in. It also doesn't mark the dovetails.Ideal if you need to convert vixen to losmandy.
