The new Atik 420L features the same 2MP Sony ICX274 CCD used in the Atik 320E but in a much narrower body. Indeed it has the narrowest body in it's class making it an excellent choice for use with the HyperStar/Fastar system or any other telescope system that benefits from a narrow camera body.

This new Series-4 camera also offers the same low noise electronics of the Series-3 plus an improved cooling system with a capacity of -30C below ambient. It also features setpoint cooling, low heat dissapation and and simple 12V power requirement to facilitate field operation.
