The Baader Planetarium MPCC enables owners of fast Newtonian telescopes to use their instrument for taking stunning wide-field images, or visually, for delivering wide-field views with stars that remain pinpoint to the edge.

The MPCC has been optimized for Newtonians with focal ratios from f/4 to f/6, and will deliver 12micron stars across a full 35mm frame size.

Independent optical laboratory tests (by ITE) have confirmed that the MPCC is the sharpest wide-field coma corrector available, and provides the best edge of field illumination.

Visual users have reported great results even down to f/3.7.  The optics are anti-reflection coated with the finest 7 layer multi-coatings available.

Thanks Baader
  -  Stuart

When looking for a coma corrector for my f4.5 flextube, I considered this one from Baader, the skywatcher one and TeleVue's Parracor.

For me this one hits the mark perfectly being very good optically and being only a few pounds more expensive than the Skywatcher one.

I cannot compare the performance of the others but this one is very nice and does what it says on the tin. Baader products have a knack of hitting the right mark and this is yet another example.

So thanks Baader for another nice Astro product.

Solves Newtonian Coma Issues
  -  Mike

If you're new to astrophotography and you've noticed that the stars in your pictures look elongated, almost like they're stretched out towards the edges then you need this coma corrector.

I'm using one in a 6" Newtonian (150P) and I love it. It corrects the coma very well to the point where it is not easily discernible even when zoomed into the raw data.

If you have a DSLR and a Newtonian telescope, you will benefit from one of these Baader Coma Correctors.
