Have you always wanted to know what it would feel like to be in an orbiter flying across the surface of the moon?
Have you wanted to see the shadows cast across the lunar mountain ranges and look across the craters on the edge of the moon into the darkness of space?
Have you ever wished that you could see Saturn and it's glorious rings and on a good night make out the Cassini division, it's moons and Jupiter with it's spot and cloud bands?
Or to take a look deep into the central stars of the Orion Nebula or the multi-coloured stars of a vast number of star clusters and pairs?
Look no further than a Skymax 127 from First Light Optics.
I bought one of these as my first scope and I was absolutely and utterly amazed when I saw Jupiter for the first time. It was an intensely exhilarating experience, a real "double rainbow" moment of overwhelming joy.
The mount itself has a GOTO hand controller which after a brief setup will allow you to slew to a variety of targets in the sky although the common ones are easily learnt by a beginner.
The only negative points are that the mount won't last long on batteries in the provided satchel so you may wish to pick up a 12v battery, and you may need a cheap moon filter to get started on the moon as it can be very bright, especially when full.
In summary - an awesome scope, buy it and enjoy it!
