A premium quality direct-replacement thread-on focuser for larger SCTs with a 3.25" threaded back such as the Meade 10, 12 and 14" and the Celestron 11 and 14". It simply threads on the rear visual back then is rotated to the desired orientation and locked in place if required.

Moonlite's silky-smooth dual rate tri-knob focuser with Shaft-lock features a fine-focus 8 to 1 reduction system using an inline all ball-bearing planetary designed unit. The .95" travel Crayford design provides the 'zero backlash' and 'no image shift' performance necessary for perfect collimation. Highly polished hard anodised bearing riding surfaces result in an extremely smooth focus action and a 6 lb load capacity. 

The Shaft Lock mechanism is a unique mini brass compression ring clamp that allows the user to lock the shaft without deflecting the drawtube. This type of focus lock is much better then the old 'thumb screw against the draw tube' style that shifts the image when clamped.  

This version is fitted with Moonlite's new drawtube/flange configuration for imagers that allows a focal reducer to be screwed directly into the drawtube inside the focuser. The focal reducer then travels with the drawtube as the focuser is racked in-out providing the correct distance for imaging.
