An up-rated version of the original Opticron HR, the SR.GA offers premium standards of optical performance and manufacturing quality in a traditional porroprism format.

Simplicity of design (the binoculars are not waterproof) coupled with premium quality glass components mean that all four models deliver high resolution, brightness and contrast equal to roof-prism binoculars costing twice the price!

In addition each model benefits from combination multi-coating where different coating types are applied selectively to different components within the optical system. More costly than a universally applied single multi-coating, the process has an appreciable effect, improving colour contrast in bright sunlight at midday or low light at dawn and dusk.

The lightweight bodies are finished in a contoured natural rubber that completely covers the instruments in a protective skin. The semi-circular rib patterns offer a comfortable, secure grip in all weather conditions, with or without gloves.

Models 8x32 and 12.5x50 feature wide-angle eyepieces. Full field of view with glasses is obtained on the 8.5x50 and 10x50 models.
