It works at f/6.25
  -  John

Bought this to go with the Skywatcher Equinox 80 APO PRO OTA f/6.25 and a canon 7D. Flattener screws directly into the T to EOS adaptor. Corner stars are now very good and round.

Bargain Flattener
  -  Guy

I bought this flattener to use on a Revelation 600mm f/6 scope, as the scope was being used with a DSLR I didn't want to reduce the focal length and f/6 was fast enough.
The stars on the extremes are very well controlled.
The quality is superb, beautifully anodized a glossy black, the elements are Gin clear with nice looking coatings.. Excellent value..

Easy to use and great value.

I bought this flattener to try with my William Optics Megrez 72. I had previously been using a combined flattener and reducer which proved difficult because its performance was incredibly sensitive to having perfect focus.

This flattener is much easier to use. The stars in the corners are much better shapes and much easier to achieve. It's not a focal reducer, so my scope is still at f/6 which means I have to expose a little longer, but that's no problem.

Best of all, this performance comes at a great price. You can spend a lot more flatteners and reducers with no performance guarantees with your scope and camera. I use this Skywatcher flattener all the time now.
