I bought this mount almost a year ago and to date I cannot fault it as to regards its mechinical operation, it had none of the sticky grease usually associated with these clones but saying that after a strip down and regreasing a very slight improvement was made . Packaging was more than as needed and very secure and the intsuctions seemed still to be in chinese are readable and you can follow them if need be. We now come to the software which is far behind the Celestron Software why? Ive no Idea but it is the same company you will get by on the software but in myopinion the Celestron version out performfs the SW software by a street eg . Celestron boast you can polar align using any two stars quite accurately (a boon to people who cannot gyrate anymore). However the mount in general is a gigantic leap forward and a solid foundation for those going from a alt/az to a Gem goto and want to dabble in Astrophotos
