This is a 6kg counterweight for counterbalancing the 10Micron GM1000 German Equatorial mount or the 10Micron BM100 Leonardo binocular mount. This is made from V2A stainless steel which is a rust proof and scale resist type of steel.

The counterweight also features an innovative camera docking port with 1/4″ photo thread to allow you to mount your camera or other accessories to the counterweight.

The counterweight features a large knurled screw (twist grip) for easy clamping but can also be clamped using an Allen-hexagonal key.
