About this product
You know the problem, you have achieved the best possible focus but in one or two corners the stars still aren’t quite right. Perhaps it is a tilted sensor or an accessory that isn’t quite orthagonal to the optical axis.
A tilt adjuster enables you to make minute adjustments in real-time until you find the sweet-spot, regardless of what is causing the tilt.
To use simply loosen the small setting screws then adjust one of the larger adjustment screws, watching the affect it has on the image. When you have found the sweet-spot retighten the setting screws.
Adds approx 9-10mm to the optical path.
|Average Rating (1 Review): |Tilt Adjuster - adjustment screws partially obstructed for real time adjustments with some cameras

I bought this to use with my ZWO 290MM to eradicate the NRs when solar imaging. The item appears solidly constructed. There was a hole on the surface of the metal where the coating appears to be defective, and a few marks here and there on the item, but nothing that should hamper the functional purpose of the item. The item does not come with allen keys to make the adjustments to the tilt, must have saved them a few pennies. When the adapter is fitted to my 290MM (same for any USB3 ZWO camera, and older USB2 models) the allen key heads are partially obstructed, so this somewhat hampers the real-time adjustments. However it functions as expected.
