Very handy T2 variable extender / 1.25" eyepiece holder.

The adapter comes in two parts, the first outer part can only be used with the second, this way it functions as described above, as a variable length T adapter which can be set between 31.5mm and 42.5mm, there is a thumb screw to clamp down at your desired length.

The inner part has a T-thread on one side and a 1.25" opening, and as such it can be used as a simple eyepiece holder that you focus by moving manually then clamping in place.

Focus can be varied by manually sliding the focuser into place and locking.

When received i noticed it didnt connect with the other adapter i ordered (my fault!!) because they were the same gender. Any how, i can still use this as an eyepiece or 1.25" camera holder, and very nice it is too.

Useful but not exactly what I needed

The sliding Focuser is well made and I will make use of it for non-imaging applications. There is a little too much clearance between the tubes to prevent 'tilting'. Perfectly OK for visual or finder scopes. I have now purchased the VariLock 46 which is excellent and has the rigidity needed. New to astronomy and have a lot to learn!
