I bought this knowing that I wanted to mount the Asiair Plus to a tripod leg rather than on the telescope/mount itself. I have a Star Adventurer Pro and wanted to minimise extra weight on my astrophotography rig. I could have used Velcro but found this item some time ago and give it a try.Absolutely Perfect. A great fit on my Skywatcher 1.75” tripod leg and easily removable. I would highly recommend it for those wanting to mount the Asiair this way.As for FLO. What can I say but absolutely first class both for this item and the Asiair Plus and guide scope/camera which arrived only a few days later. Thank you, especially to Alex for his great advice and customer service.
