Excellent fit and finish, large thumbscrews, secure grip. Nothing to complain: works great as advertised. 5 stars all the way!

Upgraded my 200PDS

Added this to my 200PDS and it holds my Skywatcher Coma corrector with attached ASI1600MM-C firmly in place without marking the coma corrector.

Causes tilt with a Baader MPCCMKIII
Thursday, 20 September 2018  |

While I acknowledge that the design of the Baader MPCCMKIIIs barrel is not the best in terms of how it interacts with a compression fitting and this likely works fine with a SWCC, I feel that as the MPCCMKIII is probably the most popular Coma Corrector used on Sky-watcher Newtonians the opportunity to account for the MPCCMKIII in the design of this item was missed. In the end I went back to using the original.

Upgrade for my Orion 10 DOB focuser
Wednesday, 7 February 2018  |

Just wanted to stop any marking of my 2" EP etc. Don't know why manufacturers don't fit compression rings to focusers as standard.
Screw the old one off and on with the new. Not up to Baader quality but not Baader prices either.
Does the job well. I like the larger thumbscrews with good length so you can tighten without having to fiddle about at the base of the EP .
