I bought these for when I'm using a short telescope on my Scopetech Zero mount. They are of high quality metal and attach very securely via a hex wrench fitting screw. Before I bought them, I thought they were a bit pricey, but having used them I think they are worth the price - much better in every way than cheaper plastic options. Recommended.

I also brought these for my Vixen Porta 2. I had already purchased Slo Mo replacements as i found the one supplied with the mount were a very poor quality. But, still was not pleased with the result. I had seen these on a few forums and they seemed to get the universal thumbs up. I also was very happy even though you have to put them direct on the mount i.e. no floppy cables. One thing i would mention, where they are machined the grip part can be quite sharp, but a small price to pay for a quality bit of kit.
Also must mention the speedy efficient service again from FLO. /😉

I bought these to replace the two push on plastic ones that come on the EQ5, which seem to be universally disliked by anyone who bought the mount. There is absolutely no comparison whatsoever, these are beautifully made, fit and finish is fantastic, , no wobble like the originals. I would highly recommend these to anybody.

I originally brought the long flexible slow motion knobs for the scopetec zero az mount, but found when using a short scope (WO 61) they got in the way, these AMD knobs are of very high quality, work very well and complement an already classy az mount, they're a tad expensive but after 30 odd years in astro quality doesn't come cheap

I bought a Vixen Port alt-az mount a while back and really liked it apart from one thing; the slow motion control handles/knobs were the flimsiest plastic you could imagine. While on an online astronomy forum, I noticed someone recommended ADM slow motion knobs as a great replacement. The ADM knobs are indeed great quality, machined aluminium (I guess), with good gripping knurled finish. A hex socket grub screw secures the knob to the shaft. They both look and feel the business on the Porta mount. Wish I had bought them years ago!

I bought these knobs for my Skywatcher EQ5 mount as the ones that came with it did not fit well and kept coming off. The ADM knobs are much more robust and have a grub screw that clamps them onto the shaft so that there is no chance of them coming adrift and falling off in the dark - a definite improvement.
