The VDUP7-TAK was designed specifically to fit a Takahashi tube ring.

Fits popular telescope mounts sold by iOptron, Sky-Watcher, Celestron, Orion, TeleVue, Vixen and others.  

The circular depression  measures 52mm in diameter and is 2mm deep. 

The two tapped holes are M8-1.25 and are 35mm centre to centre.   

7″ Long, 1.72″ Wide, .625″ Thick, Wt. 9 oz.

Better than Takahashi's own dovetail

All ADM gear is real top quality stuff, and this dovetail is no exception, it mates to the smaller ring under the Takahashi cradle, while the cradle itself fits with such precision to the top surface of the dovetail, it is hard to believe it is an after market part. I have already bought takahashis own dovetail and didn't really get on with it, this is superior in every respect, bigger, stronger, better fitting, better finish. Highly recommended.
