Combines Celestron's Advanced VX computerised equatorial mount with its acclaimed EdgeHD optical system.  

With over 9 inches of aperture and premium StarBright XLT coatings, the 925 EdgeHD gives you over 1000 times the light gathering power than the unaided eye. It also delivers more resolution than the 800 with less weight than the 1100. 

EdgeHD is an aplanatic, flat field Schmidt-Cassegrain telescope that produces aberration-free images across a wide visual and photographic field of view. The optical system was designed to reduce more than just off-axis star coma; it also provides an astrograph-quality flat focal plane all the way to the edge of the field of view.

The new Advanced VX mount is specifically designed to provide optimum imaging performance for smaller telescopes. Features include permanent programmable periodic error correction, all star polar alignment, autoguider support and the ability to image across the meridian without doing a meridian flip so you can seamlessly image the best part of night sky. Compared to the earlier CG5-GT mount the Advanced VX also has larger base castings for improved stability under heavier loads and upgraded motors for more torque.

Q1. Does this comes with a 90 deg star diagonal?

Yes - this does come with a 1.25 inch, 90 degree diagonal.


Q2. Does this comes with a serial cable for connection to a PC?

No, unfortunately this is not supplied with a computer serial cable. These are available separately at our website here: Serial cable for Skywatcher and Celestron mounts (Choose the 'Celestron' option).

Many newer computers come without an RS-232 port so to use this cable you will need a USB to RS-232 adapter which we can also provide: Celestron USB to RS-232 Adapter.
