The mirror in this 1.25-inch diagonal has undergone a high-reflectivity multi-coating process that enables it to reflect 99% of the gathered starlight for exceptional brightness and contrast (regular diagonals typically reflect 90-95% of light).

Throw the included Diagonal away 17 August 2023 | Jonathan
This is not only well worth buying it is needed. The included diagonal from the Skywatcher SkyMax telescopes stays in the box never to see the light of stars again. Immediately noticeable from going from one to the other.

I bought this to replace a diagonal prism that came with my Skymax 127 and have to say the results are extremely pleasing; it delivers good contrast and brighter views. It's an excellent diagonal with a metal body that gives the feel of quality. I would definitely recommend this product and purchasing from FLO - they are super helpful and give exceptional customer service.

I wanted a decent 1.25" diagonal as my 2" is very heavy. I took a chance on this one and I can honestly say I am not disappointed. Excellent build quality, nice design with compression rings so as not to damage accessory barrels. Far far better than standard diagonals. Seems more reflective than some other mirror diagonals I had in the past but I have no real way of measuring it.
I would honestly recommend this to anyone wishing to replace the substandard rubbish that comes with most scopes. * * * * *
Nice Step Up In Build Quality 06 March 2019 | Martin
I wanted a 1.25 inch diagonal with a compression ring rather than one with the standard set screw that marks eyepiece barrels, and originally decided on the William Optics Erecting prism with the helical fine focusser. However reading the about the issues with diffraction spikes made me think again and I decided instead to go for this Sky-Watcher di-electric mirror diagonal, foregoing the bonus of the fine focusser.
Its of all metal construction and looks and feels nicely put together, a big step up in quality to the standard issue Sky-Watcher diagonals supplied with my Skymax 127 Mak and Startravel 102 Refractor.
My ancient eyes can't see any difference in light transmission between this and the standard diagonal, however i'm more than happy with it.
