It works. I have a RASA 8 and have always struggled to some extent to get cables curving evenly away from camera to the edge of the OTA. Now if I need to rotate the camera for framing I simply slide the cable router round the RASA's rim without disturbing the cables.

Do you really need to pay for a piece of 3-D printed plastic to hold your cables as they cross the correction plate on your RASA / Hyperstar? Well, yes, in fact, you may well do.
This accurately printed cable form clips securely on the edge of the OTA, and stands off a safe distance from the corrector plate. I'd originally hoped for a slot into which the cable might sit, but it's just a plain strut so you have to attach the cables to it somehow, but I suppose that not all cables are the same diameter and this would make the obstruction bigger. I tied mine on with black button thread and it looks very neat. Previously I'd considered a more DIY approach, but this solves all the issues in one go. Try it, you'll like it.
