The TS 2.5" Rack and Pinion Focuser is a high-quality 2.5" focuser with a max payload capacity of 6kg.
Telescope side connection - M90x1 female thread:
The TS 2.5" rack and pinion focuser is attached to the telescope via an M90x1 female thread adapter. 360° rotation is also included - with no tilting. The connection fits directly to the 6" and 8" StellaLyra Ritchey Chretien and Cassegrain telescopes.
Camera side/eyepiece side connection:
The TS 2.5" rack and pinion focuser has an M63x1 connection thread on the camera side. This allows direct screwing of corrector systems like the TS 2.5" full-frame flattener for refractors or StellaLyra Ritchey Chretien telescopes.
In addition, a 2" eyepiece adaptor is included (compression ring with three screws), and a 2" to 1.25" adaptor is also included.
This focuser does not use ballbearing supports, which can tilt. Instead, it uses a Teflon support, guaranteeing a complete lack of play when used with heavy loading. The draw tube's motion is separated, offering the best possible stability and smooth movement.

I bought this focusser for my Stellalyra RC6 to primarily take OAG-L, EFW and 2600mm pro. Really robust and a huge improvement over the scope’s supplied focusser (which I’m sure if fine with a lighter setup hanging out back of it). As ever excellent delivery and service from FLO.

I think I may jinx focusers.
My two favourite telescopes are a Meade 6000 80mm and a William Optics FLT132. Both are superb telescopes but the focusers died after only a year or two. I replaced them with a big Moonlite which is fine for the 132 but really too big for the 80. The Meade is a sufficiently rare telescope that few focuser specs mention that they are compatible. This one is and has restored the Meade's balance.
I can't say it is silky smooth but it gives the appearance of being well constructed and vastly better than the focuser supplied with most telescopes. I have no doubt that a Starlight if you could both find one and afford it would be better but this appears to be a fine product.
