Premium Japanese-made eyepieces featuring Takahashi's proprietary LE design.

Provides orthoscopic-like performance with a wider 52 degree apparent field of view and longer eye-relief. 

An excellent choice for lunar and planetary observing but can be considered good all-round performers. 

These eyepieces are comfortable to use but if you need to wear eyeglasses when observing only the 24mm and longer focal lengths have sufficient eye-relief.

Their slim design also makes them a popular choice for use in binoviewers. 

All have 1.25" nosepieces except the 40mm & 50mm which have 2" nosepieces, the 40 & 50 also provide a remarkably flat field of view!

Stunning views from LE 50 mm

I bought an LE 50 mm to give me widefield deep sky views with my Tak Mewlon 250CRS. It gives really stunning views! Great wide fields fitting in a single view M81 and M82, or the Perseus Double Cluster. Stars pin sharp to the edge and great contrast. The eyepiece is very easy on the eye with good eye relief. Makes me want the LE 40 mm to complement it.

I bought the 5 mm, 10 mm and 30 mm together with the FS-60Q.
Maybe the 7,5 mm 12,5 mm and 30 mm would have been a better combination.
The eyepieces work great. I see nothing wrong with them and they are well made.
They are not 100% parfocal. I have not tried any other series of eyepieces so I don't know how they compare.
The 10 mm seems to have shorter eye-relief than the 5mm and 30mm.
I would recommend them. They are good quality, easy to use and they are not too big and heavy.
