The iOptron Tri-Pier combines the strength and stability of a pier with the levelling flexibility of a tripod.

Aluminium pier and leg tops, stainless steel leg extensions (conveniently stored in pier body) and integral vibration suspension pads.

Suitable for use with the following iOptron mounts (some require an adapter).

CEM60/CEM70/CEM120
CEM40
GEM45/GEM45EC (may limit low latitude application 10 Degrees North or less)
iEQ45/iEQ45 Pro
iEQ30/iEQ30 Pro (may limit low latitude application)
AZ Mount Pro/MiniTower/MiniTower II/MiniTower Pro (needs a center post and three leveling screws #8340-PIER)

The Tri-pier also fits other brand mounts with a suitable adapter.

Brought the TRI-PIER to partner my CEM 70, great combination very sturdy, easy to level up, so buy one if you have a mount in its weight limits you won't regret it.

I bought this recently to go with my new CEM60. Its very steady and adjusts easily so has been a good combo upgrade. Was windy the other night and in the past my old AVX would wobble a little, this didn't! The vibration feet pre-fitted are a nice touch too.

Very Sturdy!

Well this is a nice tripod. The central tube is very large in diameter to add great strength. The legs fit inside this tube for storage. I like the way that when fitting the 3 legs, they slide into a stop position so it's easy to repeat the height. When using this to support the AZ Mount it sits on 3 adjustable screws to set it level. This leads to the only niggle I have with the whole thing - the bolt used to secure the mount isn't accessible from underneath so they supply a smaller bolt to use as a bar to turn the bolt from above. However don't let this deter you from buying this superb set up. Anyone who can set up polar alignment is well capable of making a small mod !!! All in all very good. I sat my C11 tube on this today and it's rock solid. Well deserved 5 stars from me.
