Sky-Watcher's AZ-GTi Wi-Fi Alt-Azimuth mount features a built-in WiFi module, enabling it to to be controlled wirelessly via your Smartphone or Tablet using Sky-Watcher's free SynScan App for iOS or Android.
It also features Sky-Watcher’s Freedom-Find™ patented dual-encoder technology so your telescope can be moved manually in either axis without the mount losing its positional information - which is rather convenient :-)
The mount is quiet in operation, has a payload capacity of up to 5kg and accepts telescopes via a regular 45mm dovetail bar.
Tripod option includes adjustable aluminium tripod with accessory tray, will also fit to other suitable photo-tripods via standard 3/8" screw fitting

It's a lot bigger and heavier than I was expecting, but I think I prefer that. First light was last night and it was beautiful to use. I gave it 4 stars for 2 reasons. The first is the documentation that came with it is definitely not enough. The second, honestly is the box, nothing on it just a plain standard box.
Flo as always are amazing and they will always get 5 stars from me for their part.
Performance inconsistent, electronics unreliable, dead after only 1 year.

I bought this model in Feb 2019, I am not sure if I've got a bad sample. The good side is quick set up and very easy to use. The bad side is the performance of the mount has been very inconsistent, sometimes very accurate but sometimes it pointed to nowhere when I input an object. When I photographed the annular eclipse in December 2019, the mount was unable to track the sun, I had to manually correct the position from time to time. Then, this Easter weekend, it simply failed to connect, the led light flashed as it should , I could connect the wifi but couldn't connect to the mount itself. I am very disappointed with the quality of this product. 2 stars because it's easy to use, otherwise it is one.
A great portable AZ mount

I bought this to mount my new Skywatcher ED80, which is to be used as a travel scope. Not the most sturdy mount out there, as you might expect given its size, but more than enough to handle my ED80 for visual use. As a package this is excellent, with full featured GoTo capabilities. Easy to set up and easy to use. Once aligned I get pretty much bang-on GoTos every time. Very happy. Highly recommended.
This is a go-to option for the beginner

This is a go-to option for the beginner (myself) and probably for anyone is looking for portability.
I have purchased only the base and I had no issue to firmly attach it on my photographic tripod (my tripod is sturdy and can carry up to 10k).
The disadvantage is that there is no manual (the included leaflet is not a manual...) so you have to search on Youtube and forums for review and guides.
Easy to use through the SysScan Pro on an iPad.
Please be advised! Do not make the same mistake. Pay attention to your tube's mount to match. I have the Sky-Watcher Skymax 90 OTA and the mount is not compatible! You have to replace it with the SHORT option from this: https://www.firstlightoptics.com/dovetails-saddles-clamps/astro-essentials-dovetail-bars.html
I thought that it would be possible to capture great planetary images without a motorized mount. Hmmm no...This is a must-have if you are looking for quality pictures.

Good Mount for a lightweight Telescope with good GOTO for the price of equipment, very good App to goto objects, I particulary like the "best object for the night" with one click go to, however I found using the iPhone to move the telescope fiddly, had to keep on looking at it where my finger is poking, I think the use of a SkyScan handset would be easier, this is why I droped a Star, In all a good buy for a Grab N Go

Very nice little mount. As has been said, the instruction manual is not much use, but with the videos available on YouTube it is very easy to set up and use. With a little care the pointing accuracy is very good. All the actions are very smooth with very little backlash. I am sure I am going to enjoy my sessions with this lovely mount.

As always with FLO great service, good price and friendly and helpful advice.
Good mount, easy to use, rubbish documentation

I bought this as a back up for outreach visits and to use with a solar scope. I know SW does a dedicated solar version but again that is more money for a single use device on top of the solar OTA.
The handbook provided is utter rubbish. No really useful info and nothing about a basic set-up for alignment, very bad for complete newbies.
I downloaded the software to my android and immedialely had to make another download to ensure it was updated! Errrr why? Can't Skywatcher just update their package foe a single download.
I then had to watch a youtube video from A&N to make sure I was operating the software properly. Where is the SW own documentation?
However once loaded and connected the AZ-GTi works very well. Setting up is easly (when you know how) and it support an trains my Altair 102mm F6 frac nicely, even though it is around 5.5Kg
I am now waiting for a proper clear night
4/5 because of the rubbish documentation.
Impressively strong, lightweight mount (especially for its small physical size)

I am using this mount with my Borg107FL and it handles the 600mm focal length scope easily producing nice stable views. I am using the stronger Skywatcher steel tripod (purchased separately) which increases the stability. I am also using a SynScan v4 handset with the mount and the combo is working well. The mount is tiny so is also easy to take on your travels.
