This v2 model has a removable 2" eyepiece holder that reveals a female/internal M54x0.75 thread for direct threaded connections.

This low profile CNC machined 10:1 dual-speed Crayford focuser replaces the regular focuser fitted to Skywatcher, Celestron and Orion Optics Newtonian telescopes.

Suitable for apertures 8-12 inches (tube diameters 9-15 inches).

The V2 Focuser includes a removable 2" Eyepiece Compression Ring adapter. Once removed, the drawtube features a female M54x.75 thread.
An Astro Essentials M54 to M48 adapter is available for direct camera connection.

The low profile 24mm drawtube is perfect for astrophotography and includes 2 x 15mm drawtube extensions, suitable for visual astronomy, even when using long focal length 2" eyepieces!

Accepts 1.25" or 2" eyepieces and grips them securely without marring their nosepiece.

a huge improvement on the standard Skywatcher focuser

I bought this to replace the standard focuser on a 1-year-old Skywatcher 200p - The holes line up perfectly to use the existing screws & bolts to fit it. There are gaps on each side where the focuser mount meets the tube but these were easily plugged using some offcuts of the sponge packaging material.
The focuser itself is outstanding in build and quality - a huge improvement on the standard Skywatcher focuser - fine focusing, along with a Stella Lyra 5mm planetary eyepiece and I have Jupiter bright and clear with the bands clear, and Jupiter's moons clear and in focus.
