About this product

Model:  lp_d_batt_e8
Part Number:  E8P-01

Lanparte dummy battery for Canon EOS: 550D, 600D, 650, 700D cameras.

This Lanparte dummy battery can be used in place of the original battery Canon LP-E8 enabling you to power your camera from an external power source such as the Lynx Astro Dew Controllers with DSLR power output.

The dummy battery is the same size and shape as the original battery and has a fully decoded chip so the camera will operate exactly as it does with a standard battery.

Each camera has a small hole / port to enable the power cable to exit the camera body with the battery door closed.

Input voltage requirement: 7.4V-8.4V, center positive 2.1mm DC jack.

Important - do not use more than 8.4V as you risk damage to your camera.

Lynx Astro Dew Controllers

These dummy batteries can be used with the Lynx Astro Dew Controllers fitted with the optional DSLR power output port.

To connect the dummy battery and dew controller, you will need this adapter cable.

This powers my 600D from my Pegasus pocket power box. So much better than having to change batteries every couple of hours.
