The Sky-Watcher SynScan Alt-Azimuth GoTo Mount allows you to easily find and observe planets, nebulae, star clusters, galaxies and more. With the easy to use SynScan hand control you can point your telescope at a specific object, or tour the night sky at the touch of a button!
My first telescope been wanting one for 35 years. Was recommended this by a friend and i am very pleased with it. Still waiting for a clear night to get out but its giving me the chance to get used to setting it up. Cant fault FLO for there customer service. I clicked the button for let me know when back in stock and got email when it was availiable. Ordered on Friday was due for delivery on the Monday. But due to very bad weather i got it on the Tuesday. Was kept updated with the tracking of it. Dont think i will have any problems with using it. Plenty of things to watch on U Tube if you have a problem setting it up.
Very easy to use and gives excellent views as well. Whether planetary or for Deep Space it gives excellent views for a telescope of its szie. Highly recommended for those who would like an all round performer as a pick up and go telescope. Would recommend getting the Skywatcher PowerTank which allows full remote location operation.
The company scores with excellent !! (communication, shipping, etc.) The telescope appears to be completely compact with all its ready-to-watch reminders in the future thanks!
This is my first "goto" telescope and it is awesome, I bought it mainly for taking photos of the moon and planets and it works like a dream.I bought the Skywatcher PowerTank 7Ah as stated buy others as using normal AA batteries can be abit hit and miss. I also bought the "Aluminium Case for Skymax 150" which fits the telescope and lenses, bits etc. perfectly, however it doesn't fit the tripod or goto motor which is what I expected. The "Nikon T Ring" all fits perfectly to my Nikon D5100 DSLR. I'm a very happy chappy
Had this about a year now. Telescope is great, but the included battery pack is a bit of a waste of time so I'd budget another £50 for a power tank. I found running on AA batteries the scope was unreliable and star alignment problematic. With the power tank it's faultless. I only gave 4* for this reason. The optics are superb, great views of Jupiter and Saturn and great lunar detail. Also terrestrial viewing is amazingly clear. Screw a digital slr on the back and you can get some great shots using it as a powerful zoom.
I bought the Skymax 127 AZ Goto for the local school astronomy club and have been testing it this week.Optics are superb, very crisp views of the moon.Extremely easy to set up and very lightweight, which is important for the novice users at school.Just waiting for the astro-video camera to arrive to test it for lunar and planetary imaging, but I have high hopes.
This was my first scope and what a little beauty! Superb optics, amazing views of the Moon and Planets. Great way to start webcam imaging. The scope is so compact its like the mobile phone of telescopes! Great for grab and go sessions.
