Missing Part and Instructions 05 October 2021 | Steven
Although well made there was a missing temperature compensating 'o' ring and no instructions although they are available from Baader's Web site after some searching.
Versatile product, but has some play in camera adapter 22 March 2021 | Andrew
I'm using this for my EOS 1DX mk3, with a low profile Optolong 2" filter. The filter fits inside the T-ring perfectly, and the grub screw clamp fitting for the S52/2" connector socket is firm. The only criticism I have is that the Canon adapter that screws into the camera body has a tiny amount of play in it, it is not completely rigid as with a lens. I've not yet tested this on a long exposure, but imagine that there will come a point where it has a slight bearing on the alignment of the sensor. Given that I want this for long exposures, it's not ideal - otherwise I'd have given five stars.

Having issues with another T-ring, from another brand, that was not fitting very well (there was some play when inserted in the camera body, causing tilting in my image), this one is a perfect fit for my Canon body (650D). The thing is in place and does not move at all.
Materials used feel solid and I have a good level of confidence when mounting my camera using this ring on my telescope.
I recommand.
Good quality but...optional filter? 13 April 2017 | Richard
This is good quality but be aware that when purchasing without a filter, spacing for the MPCC will be incorrect as the t-ring is mechanically thicker to account for the filter in the light path. The filter is optional only if you don't intend to use the MPCC with it. I wish I had discovered this before i purchased it.

Very high quality t ring as you would expect from Baader. My only reservation would be that if you plan to change from 2" nosepiece to t-2 insert ring during an astrophotography session then this is only reasonably done indoors. Apart from this the adaptability and quality of this t ring is second to none.

As expected a very well made and engineered product. Not cheap but it has the advantage of being able to connect to either a standard T fitting or an M48 fitting (ideal for SW field flatteners etc).
The best bit though is being able to fit a 2" filter in it (as long as it's no more than 6mm deep). So yes, if you need to know a Hutech IDAS D1 fits perfectly!
