Obviously being a 2" barlow this is going to be larger than your average. It has produced good clear images for me so far when observing the moon, planets and even tight doubles. It's not the easiest bit of kit to use with my Skywatcher 200p however, the barrel is so long it will not fully sit in the focuser when not using the telescopes supplied 2" focuser lengthener. Also depending on your target you will sometimes need to use the focus lengthener adaptor and sometimes you wont, but either way you will not be able to achieve focus with the barlow slotted in as far as it will go, you have to instead focus with the barlow by sliding it up/down the focuser (obviously with your focuser at it's max length) before screwing it down in your focuser tube. Once you're comfortable working around this Barlow's quirks you should find it more than adequate for the job, but i would say unless you absolutely NEED a 2" barlow (I bought as i was unsure about 1.25" and 2" EP's at the time, so bought this as it can fit both) you're probably better off looking for a smaller and lighter 1.25" equivalent.
I bought this as I needed a lower power Barlow for Lunar imaging when seeing conditions are below optimal, my original 2.5x Barlow was too much.Well build and solid with good optics as proven by a session shortly after I bought it.Works well with my 12" Meade ACF and I like having the 2" mount. On the viewing end it will accpet both 2" and 1.25" ep's.
