FLO Says: Don't be put off by it's low price. The 76mm (3") diameter Newtonian optics provide views that are brighter and clearer than the 60mm 'toy' telescopes available in department stores.

About Robert Reeves
Robert Reeves first photographed the Moon in 1959, just as our space program was setting its sights on lunar exploration. Since then, he’s become one of the world’s best lunar imagers and a prolific author on astrophotography. Using Celestron telescopes from his home in Texas, Robert captures more detailed images than professional astronomers could during the heyday of the Apollo missions. I have now had this cracking little Firstscope for a while now, great views once you put it together from out of the box so it works a treat a long side of my Travel Scope. Great delivery times too.
Better than ‘toy scopes’ that cost almost as much

I got this for my six year old Granddaughter’s birthday. I ordered a so called beginner scope from a well known on line company, it was worse than useless, so I returned it & got this scope. It is a proper scope & easy to use & it works as it’s supposed to. Excellent service again from first light optics. Check the rest then get the better one from a excellent dealer.
