Atik 2012-13 Imaging Competition

13 November 2012  |  Steve

Atik have launched their 2012-13 Atik Imaging competition and this year they are offering an Atik 11000 Mono CCD camera for the winning entry!

Runners-up can choose filter-wheels or off-axis-guiders.

All the images will go into the gallery section of Atik's website with full credits and information. This allows on-line voting later in the year but is also a useful resource for people looking for examples of what is possible using different camera/telescope combinations.

Atik also aim to print all the images submitted for display in time to display them at the London Astrofest event in February.

The competition is open to owners of Atik cameras and has three categories:

1) Atik Titan, 16IC and 16

2) Atik 314E, 320E, 420E, 428ex, 450ex and 16HR

3) Atik 460ex, 383L+, 11000 and 4000

The overall winner will be selected taking into account the camera and telescope used. Please visit the Atik website for details of how to submit images.

Good luck
