Atik have released a Christmas present for astronomers with iPads and iPhones.

A new Atik CCD FOV calculator App to help astronomers visualise the field of view offered by various camera and telescope combinations. It can also suggest suitable targets considering date and location.

Features include the ability to add telescopes for comparison, to display visible objects from user's location and a gallery of the deep-sky objects included in the app with details of telescope and camera used.
