Skywatcher Explorer 130P DS in stock!

The Skywatcher Explorer 130p DS Newtonian is finally available here in the UK! 

This new telescope features the same mirror-set as the hugely popular Explorer-130P but has a shorter tube length with the secondary mirror positioned closer to the primary mirror for more convenient prime-focus photography. It also features the larger and more capable Explorer DS 2-inch Dual-Speed 10:1 ratio focuser for enhanced focus control.

With 'zero' chromatic aberration (mirrors reflect, lenses refract) and a fast f5 focal ratio this new telescope is an excellent choice for astro-photography and when paired with a Skywatcher EQ3 PRO GOTO or Skywatcher EQ5 PRO GOTO it makes a surprisingly affordable imaging setup.

Consider also the smaller tube length and diameter make it less likely to act like a sail in the wind and less likely to flex (the smaller rolled steel tube is more stiff).
