Although not listed these are perfect for my Orion Optics (UK) 8" Europa Newtonian which although of some age is giving excellent service.Very easy to fit - just follow the comprehensive instructions and now collimation is very quick and easy. As others have said, these should now be standard equipment on all suitable scopes.
I have headache times trying to collimate my Newtonian and using that HEX L-key for the secondary mirror, now it is no more with this knobs, fits perfectly and collimating isn't easier than that.Again, thanks FLO.
Flo, fantastic service as usual.Ordered Bobs Knobs for my secondary mirror and to make collimation a tool free set up. What can I say, perfection. Something so simple makes life that much more enjoyable.Great quality product and for the price its not worth thinking about, everyone with a Newtonian reflector needs these.
Got these yesterday after years of struggling to get good collimation on my 200P, they are easy to fit and use. In fact it would be good if they were installed on all new scopes, as setting up and keeping collimation would be less time consuming.
Have had several sets of Bob's Knobs over the years. They are always well-made and robust. Hard to believe in this day and age that all dobs and reflectors don't come fitted with collimation knobs as standard. Most serious stargazers consider collimation screws to be a necessity so if your scope doesn't have any get yourself a set of Bob's pdq!!
these knobs are a must-have for newtons, replaced the stock screws with bob's knobs and , extra tools are no longer needed for collimation (except when using a collimator). easy recplacement, remove one screw at a time, adjust collimation and you're ready. no hex-tools needed anymore. recommended.
I changed the collimation screws on my SW 200p to Bobs Knobs ,makes collimating so much easier especially for the secondary no risk of drooping an allen key onto mirror ,i did change the primary screws too, the primary wasn't so much of an issue and could have left the originals on tbh ,rated 4 stars due to cost for what they are .
