I bought this to go with the Astro FI 127 Mak as the app control was a pain to use when moving the telescope as you had to look away to find the on-screen buttons. It took a little digging around to establish that this version of the hand control was compatible with the mount. I wondered whether I would have been better with a hand controlled version to begin with, but current supply issues mean your choice is seriously limited. All in, I do have the ease of navigating the app gives, with the benefit of tactile buttons to move when aligning etc.

My recently purchased older CPC 925 got wrong date from GPS. I learned that the original HC never received a new firmware to solve this problem. While still uncertain whether also the GPS receiver needed to be changed I first tried with this new controller. It arrived with a 2017 firmware which also displayed the wrong date. After upgrading to the latest version from Aug 2019 everything works fine. Fast and prompt service from FLO with my first purchase
If you try the same upgrade, please notice that the PC interface is not a standard USB - it needs a serial driver.
