Useful gadget for various telescopes. I use it as a kind of zoom lens holder with one high mag eyepiece and a second very low mag eyepiece.

Excellent service and excellent product

Made of engineering plastic. It has a thermal expansion of 1/4 that of aluminum and is lightweight. I am very satisfied.

The Q turret is made of a plastic material.
Feels cheap. Otherwise Ok.

I use this turret with my 12” Dobsonian for which it is excellent. As there is no change in weight going from one eyepiece to another, I can balance the telescope perfectly and run with the absolute minimum friction in the altitude bearing. I must say however, that for this money I would have been happier to see the unit in metal rather than plastic, especially the eyepiece collars.
I have to mount the turret in a Revelation 2” to 1.25” self centre adaptor, as my focuser will not travel far enough inwards to focus using the normal eyepiece holder. Apart from this, the unit works perfectly with no problem accommodating filters screwed to the eyepiece bases.
