It's really well made and corrects flawlessly.

After reading many reviews i came up to this item for the Newtonian as it is doing good, there is a cheaper option but i didnt want something that much cheap but not that much good as this corrector, it is also holding nicely against more expensive high end corrector, so i was confident that this corrector will do the job just right.

I've had the 254 CF Quattro for a few years now, and I tried to do my best with the Skywatcher 0.9x coma corrector and also the Baader MPCC III cc.

These work fine on f4.5-f5.0 Newtonians but were pretty poor on the f4 Quattro, with coma still evident at the corners of the frame.

The aplanatic looks very big compared to my previous two CCs but when installed, it is a fine fit for the Quattro, without tube interior intrusion.

As soon as I completed my first stack on first light with the aplanatic, I immediately noticed sharper, more pinpoint stars, with sharpness all the way out to the edges and corners.

Really pleased with purchase, just wish I'd got the aplanatic, when I got the Quattro.
