I’ve yet to use the controller, weather hasn’t created Dew yet. But checked it out and the size is perfect. I feel the quality could be a bit better but it’ll do the job perfectly. I also bought two Astro lynx dew bands from FLO they’re nicely made and value for money. And FLO.. they deliver fast. Well packaged. Good service.

Bought as a Xmas gift, so only tried it to ensure it works ok.

Nice and compact, very light weight, simple one control knob operation. Easy hook & loop tape fixing.

Amazingly, the day it turned up was clear, so I used it the day I got it - I am surrounded by lakes and I'm on grass, my dew shield was helping, but after 3-4 hours it was reaching the corrector which meant the end of my night, last night I had this on at 50% (had no idea what setting to put it on!) and didn't get any dew on the inside of the shield at all even when the rest of the rig was dripping by the end of the night

This comes with some velcro which is great. stuck it on the leg of the tripod and it keeps some of the wire out of the way.

box construction seems pretty cheap but so is the price so no complaints here

just to be specific if it helps anyone, had this + an eq6-r plugged into my celestron lithium power tank pro for the night didn't lose a battery light, so I guess between 0 and 24.9% use for 4 hours, less power use than expected

ordered Astro essentails dew controller 2dew straps and female cigarette lighter unit at about 11 am Monday, arrived 12-30 Tuesday well packed, all excellent. What a first class service thanks brilliant service FLO, Dave.
