High quality flexible dew shields that lay flat or roll up for easy storage.

Note: When selecting for a Newtonian, please select the equivalent aperture SCT.

Made of lightweight durable black ABS plastic that will not chip or crack.
The interior is felt-lined to help absorb moisture and to prevent extraneous light from reaching the optics.
Sewn Velcro strips facilitate quick wrap-around placement onto the corrector plate rim.
A two-inch rubber trim also wraps around the OTA to prevent slippage.

Simple, works well, looks great!

I bought the size to fit my 90 Mak. The shield is a doddle to fit and the inner rubber border grips the scope well. Helps greatly in blocking lateral light from neighbours (need something similar for my eyes! Gulp, a hoodie maybe). Could have gone the home-made route, but pleased that the shield looks good on the front as well as works well And, as ever, great service from FLO with their customary quick delivery!

Dew shield - For Skymax 180Pro

Recently bought this for my Skymax 180 PRO. Bought the one called "7” & 8” Mak / Sct".

Works nicely but because it is also designed to fit an 8" scope, you need to overlap the grippy foam strip and only use a thin strip of velcro to fit on a 7" scope. I.e. fiddly at best.

Stops the dew though.

Only three stars for poor fit
