I am installing a Pulsar observatory and I was looking to put a bigger guide scope on my C9,25 Edge. These are often the smaller achromatic scopes of 80 aperture. I wil be using the Sky-Watcher Startravel. Hence a proper and stable mount came in the picture.
These mounts usually aren't cheep, 300£ +...
Until I found this Sky-Watcher mount at a very good price. The part was sent immediately (as per usual service of FL0) and when I got it im my hands, I was surprised about the solid construction.
It shows no backlash and is very robust. Of course it is not light as you can see and is not advised for any backpacking. But for an observatory it will do a very good job.
Now I need to find a way to fit it to my C9,25, but that's part of the hobby....
