Building on the success of the iOptron CEM60 centre balance equatorial mount, iOptron have introduced the new CEM70EC2W now with Integrated Dual Axis Encoders, for realtime periodic error correction, Wi-Fi and USB 3.0

Retaining the inherent properties of the centre balance design, this relatively compact mount provides an impressive 70 lbs (31.8 kg) payload capacity, precise GOTO pointing and accurate tracking (PE <±3.5 arc-sec) so will appeal to both both visual astronomers and astrophotographers. 

The CEM70EC2W dual high resolution encoder mount  becomes the new standard bearer for equatorial mounts in the 70lb payload segment. The mount is packed with advanced features however the CEM70EC2W is the first of its type with dual axes high resolution encoders increasing tracking accuracy while streamlining the components resulting in a more portable imaging setup.

An impressive features list includes an internal iPolar electronic polar scope and easy lock drive gear engagement (levers large enough to use with gloves), USB 3.0 and Wi-Fi

It also features an advanced cable management system for the mount, iPolar, guider, and camera.
