242 mm focal length results in a fast f/4.8 focal-ratio.
Has both a T2 thread and 1.25” socket so connecting your autoguider, camera or eyepiece is easy.
Alignment rings are provided, each with 3 nylon-tipped screws.
The bracket's mounting foot is a regular Sky-Watcher / Celestron / Vixen-style mini dovetail so fits into most finderscope shoes.

Well, there are rave reviews for this guide scope wherever you look, and I am not going to disagree.
Straight out of the box this is a quality piece of kit, it is extremely well made, properly engineered and aesthetically pleasing, more importantly it does the job.
I have used it in anger only one so far, but on the occasion the view on my laptop with clear, it quickly showed multiple options for guide stars, it didn't require any adjustment of the location on the telescope, (I have an X-Y adjuster which I do not think I will now use again, as this scope makes it redundant).
There are a number of reviews on various forums that suggest that this little scope can be used independently as a wide field viewing or imaging scope, even in the daytime, although I must say that I found it difficult to reach focus on either of those situations, even with a good quality diagonal.
On balance, this is a lovely addition to my equipment, and although expensive I think it was well worth the money.

I have had this scope only for a few weeks and havent had a chance to use it in anger yet, but from a little play in the garden with an old eyepiece Im very impressed and cant wait to put it to use as my new light weight guide scope.

This is an elegant and very practical little scope to facilitate
guiding your mount to capture data from your main Camera.
one big plus, is the low weight factor, which is very helpful when balancing one's imaging setup.
It can pick stars easily too, great objective despite it's 50mm. diameter.
the price in another plus factor too.

The day I received this amazing bit of kit, I was out that evening testing this with a Loadstar x2 camera and WOW!!! pinpoint stars across the whole FOV. I have used many finders over the years and this one is quality and very easy to use, plus no guide camera cable getting twisted when focusing ☺☺☺
You won't be disappointed

This finder has the looks, but the build quality and performance are where this finder shines.
Taking it out of the box it feels like a miniature telescope instead of a finder. It is beautifully made and the focuser is smooth. Connecting a guide camera is simple and feels secure. I have used it on 20 minute exposures with no issues.
There are cheaper options out there but nothing comes close to the quality of this finder. I just wish they had included a diagonal.

This is just what I have been looking for - longer FL than a converted finderscope but shorter than an ST80. Better focuser than both the aforementioned and much nicer glass ! The qulaity doesnt disappoint - very nicely made, very smooth and well engineered focuser and well made rings and dovetail. As a trial I focused on a rock about a mile away and defocused in and out and the rock stayed bang in the middle of the fov. The focuser has a T2 male thread on the aft end so I fitted a T2 to C mount adapter to screw my camera on to to create a slop free system. It works superbly. Negative points = none at all.
