No more cricked neck

Iíve been using a straight through finder for years, so this was a bit of a revelation. It makes finding objects on the zenith so much easier. My first target was M13, which was more or less overhead. Iíd struggled with this a few days earlier, using the straight through finder, but with the RA finder it snapped into view without a problem. It comes with a shoe but I already have them on my telescopes, so this wasnít needed. It takes a few seconds to align and gives a nice bright, clear view, so all in all a good purchase. Had the usual speedy service from FLO as well- thanks.

finder scope

I bought this finder for my C8 i felt that the 8x50 would be better than the 9x50 of the skywatcher finder to get a little wider angle FLO is 5 star service.

What a difference!

I for one struggle with a red dot finder, it just seems to vague and imprecise, plus it's very awkward to view through when the scope is at any steep angle. Step up then this StellaLyra RACI and voila, what a difference!
Now I have a wonderfully clear and bright view of my intended target and works well, once aligned....no more cricked necks!
The scope itself seems well made and substantial, the only minus was the three different paint finishes between scope, mount and mounting bracket. Alignment did seem a bit fiddly initially but I think that's just me not used to this instrument.
FLO service and DHL delivery was first rate too.

A necessity!

Really makes finding/aligning objects so much easier. One could argue that these should be standard equipment on most scopes. I opted for this one over the Skywatcher because it matches my scope. Great build quality, super fast delivery from FLO, highly reccomended!!

8x50 Finderscope

Excellent optical quality, it is really good to see an erect image and the right angle prism allows far more comfortable use than with a findder scope without the prism and erect image. I attached it to my main scope using my existing brackets, but it wasn't obvious how the supplied bracket would allow it to be fixed on to the main scope unless the main scope had a specific type of corresponding mounting bracket.
