I must admit I was pleasantly surprised upon receiving this little scope, for the price it is well made, and visually pleasing as it is finished in a gun metal grey. Although I have not had the chance to use this yet due to our rubbish weather, I think it will live up to all expectations. Good clear lens and a fine choice of mountings. Most important of all, very affordable.

The guide scope is well made, the optics' quality is very good, and for £59 it is definitely worth it. Recommended!

Small and light guidescope with long focus range. It is a perfect match for any T2 or 1.25" guide camera. Great value for money.

Great little scope. I had planned on the ZWO version but really happy with this. Well made and solid. I use with a ZWO120MC-S as a polar alignment scope with sharpcap. Works a treat.

I bought this to go on my 71mm refractor as I cant fit my OAG between reducer and Canon 6D. It's a well made little scope. Your guide camera seats in the brass compression ring at the back and focus is achieved by unscrewing out the front lens housing. Once focus is reached you lock it in place with the locking collar. It unscrews out quite a bit but I found I had to pull out my ASI120 mini about 5mm from the shoulder at the back to reach focus. The rear shoulder has an M42 male thread for also attaching cameras should you need. You simply remove the 2 brass compression screws and attach your peripheral. I have actually attached a ZWO non rotating helical focuser for fine tuning focus. I've measured the focal length at around 130mm. Apart from guiding, I also use it with a certain software to polar align. No problem at this focal length finding enough stars to platesolve and achieve accurate polar alignment. Great little scope for the price!

At £59 I was half expecting some rather cheap feeling, plastic scope, but no, this is a quality piece of equipment that's fully metal and feels very sturdy and well made. The front part of the scope unscrews by quite a bit, allowing you to find focus with your guide cam easily, and without any spacers. You then screw the red collar back down to the main scope body and your focus is locked. I'm using mine with an asi120mc-s which connects directly to the rear of the guidescope using the pre-existing threads in both the camera and scope, without the need for any adapters or anything.
Being used to guide my Evostar72ED Pro on my Star Adventurer Pro using an ASIair, sits in the guidescope shoe easily and I didn't notice any major shift in balance, even though it feels well made and robust, it is still lightweight. I was previously managing 3 min subs unguided with this setup and about half of my exposures were usable. I've only had a single session using autoguiding so far but every single exposure was usable and better quality than any of my previous subs when unguided.
All in all a great mini guide scope at a great price that will easily do the job of guiding more than well enough for any rig, not just portable ones.
