Just rotate the adapter ring clockwise to lock any inserted accessory, or counter-clockwise to release the accessory. An innovative design ensures that you get a very solid hold and the accessory is perfectly centred every time. No thumbscrews to worry about! This Rotolock is everything I could have hoped it would be. I was looking at getting the Baader ClickLock but this was unavailable.

However, the William Rotolock is well worth the money and a lovely product to use. It has replaced my 'stock' eyepiece holder. The main benefit being that it now holds my collimator very securely (which was a problem before). As a result, my newtonian is now collimated to a much better degree IMHO. In combination with holding the eyepieces much more secure, I have noticed a considerable improvement in the optics of my scope. Last night I was out looking at the Perseus double cluster for the first time under Bortle 5 skies and the view was breathtaking.
