4mm UWA eyepiece

Limited use so far but first impressions very positive. Solid and feels quality.

Service from FLO i cannot fault. Products, price and delivery top notch. Most important to me is the good sound advice based on technical knowledge and experience on this and other products. FLO are my "goto" and "one stop" shop. In a few years time I plan to upgrade my telescope and mount and FLO is my first port of call. ,

Can't be faulted at this price

A really decent eyepiece for the money, I didn't want to spend too much on a really high power eyepiece that I wouldn't get a lot of use out of, this was the result and I am very happy with it.

Great value for money

This is a great bit of kit. Better than the basic kit you get with a telescope, well built and has some weight to it. Definitely worth the price and recommend it to others.

Definitely better than the 10mm Plossl supplied with the scope - revealing some nice views of Jupiter and the red spot. My only slight reservation is that the rubber eyepiece can come off when you remove the lens cap. All in all one of my favourite eyepieces and good service from FLO.

Stunning 4mm eyepiece.

I've recently been using this EP in my 12 inch Dob and I have to say it has absolutely blown my socks off, stunning performance for such a low price.
Viewing Saturn, the Cassini Division was sharply defined, even the Encke Minima was evident as was the C ring. Distinct banding on the planets surface and a pale blue polar region. Even the very faint moon Enceladus was visible, quite amazing.

Reasonable performance for the price

I must carry my telescope a short distance into the fields to get away from the street lighting and traffic. This limits the aperture of my Newtonian telescope to 200mm and use a slightly undersized motorised mount to limit the weight. I decided to get a set of lightweight lenses to complement this setup without further compromising of the quality. On my fixed station I use a set of APM - Lunt XWA 110° x-treme Wide Angle Eyepiece which are excellent but very heavy. So I opted for these lenses. Quite frankly there is no comparison between these lenses mostly due to the restricted FOV. However, these small lenses have a decent eye relief and I can enjoy the view even with my glasses on. The image is crisp sharp all the way to the edge of the FOV and I can get a decent image even without the coma corrector in place which reduces the weight even further. The colour and contrast of the image generated is almost similar to that achieved through the Lunt, but I use the Lunt is an area with higher light pollution so I guess that this is an unfair comparison.

Cheap but nice eyepiece

I bought this eyepiece to test it with my Mak 180mm, so although it is too much magnification for the scope with this eyepiece but it showed that it will be very nice within the allowed practical magnification with another scope, so it will be a keeper, and for its price it is no brainier.
