Two-inch nosepiece with milled safety undercut (prevents it falling out of focuser if clamp screw loosens).

I've paired this with my Astro Essentials Low-profile Focuser as i found the original extension tubes that it came with were very tough to separate. Having this 35mm Extension Tube has not only simplified swapping over equipment but has added an extra screw on the compression ring to aid security with the attached camera/eye-piece.

Well made part that does the job. Pleased that it has an undercut on the nose for safety and 2 fixing screws at the back.
It does the job I had for it 24 November 2021 | Alan
It's fine. Using it as a permanent modification to a 1970's focuser, 'Araldited' into the plain brass drawtube.

Having acquired a second-user Skywatcher 250p Flexi I was at a loss as to why I couldn’t obtain focus with the 2” eyepieces although the 1.75’s were behaving themselves. I hadn’t needed to bother with extension tubes with my other ‘scope, an Evo8 but a little research led me to this lovely bit of kit and the problem is solved, so full marks to Astro Essentials and also to FLO for getting it to me within 24 hours!

Just what I needed to increase the backfocus for my R200ss

Great product. The quality is great. It fit very well with my 2" focuser and my Hyperion eyepieces. If you are using Hyperion eyepieces and Skywatcher Dobsonian you will need this extension to get focus.
Good quality and works perfectly 13 October 2020 | Mark
I needed something to help with getting sufficient back focus with my 3x Barlow when imaging Mars. This works perfectly and is decent quality too.
Replaced Sky-Watcher 200p Dop 2" extension with this one. 21 August 2020 | Johann
The standard 2” extension that is supplied with the sky watcher Dob is a crock of crap. It is too long so it does not give you enough back focus to remove the focusers form the line of sight of the primary.
The Astor Essentials one is perfect at 35mm and the brass compression ring secures nice and tight without marring.
Thanks to FLO for suggesting it. A bonus points is that it takes 2” filters so if you are juggling eyepieces at night you can attach a filter to the adapter, and not have to faf getting it off and on between changing out eyepieces.
