This coma corrector and reducer turns your Newtonian telescope into an astrograph with high light intensity. The focal length is shortened and the field corrected.

 

  • The corrector reduces the focal length of the Newton and increases the light intensity while correcting the field of view at the same time.
  • The corrector is Can be used for all Newtonian telescopes from f / 3.5 to f / 8. The only requirements are a 2 "connection and sufficient working distance (back focus)
  • Focal Reduction is 0.73x
  • Working distance from the M48 thread is 66.85 mm
  • Usable image field up to 30 mm (APS-C format) / fully corrected 22 mm
  • Required focus distance from the 2 "socket of the extension: 85 mm - this is fulfilled by almost all Newtonian telescopes with a 2" connection
  • Mechanical length of the corrector is 56 mm - the corrector is short and does not protrude into the tube. The shorter design also provides a larger illuminated field of view
  • There is an M48x0.75 (2 ") filter thread on the telescope side
