Wrap the dew shield around the end of your telescope tube near the optics and secure it with the integrated Velcro. A gentle heat is then transferred to the optics until the temperature is slightly warmer than the dew point.
An inner black felt liner prevents stray light from entering the telescope and enhances contrast.
Dimensions are 53cm long and 19cm wide.
Please check the circumference of your telescope to ensure it will provide a good fit (a few cm are necessary for the velcro areas to overlap).
Will I need a Dew Controller?
A simple 12V Dew Heater Supply Cable can be used to connect the tape to a suitable 12V power-supply. When connected this way, the tape is essentially running on full power. This won't harm the tape, but with smaller telescope apertures, it might result in the optic being warmer than necessary, which can affect the view and waste energy. The solution then is to use a Dew Controller that regulates the heat (also enables you to use more than one heater tape).

no quite big enough to wrap around my 130PDS, it wouldn't fasten, I used duct tape to hold the circular shape and it works OK, but needs to be maybe .5to1" wider for comfort.

Reflectors tend to have larger tubes than their mirror size so a 5" dew shield like this is for a true 5" tube, for your scope a 6" shield would be a better choice due to the oversize outer tube.

Bought as a Xmas gift so not really used it yet, but looks very promising.
Fits the Celestron Maksutov 125 well and suits the requirement of a Dew Shield and Dew Heater all in one.

As usual, unable to give a true review of the heated dew shield recently bought from flo due to our wonderful weather. The item is excellent quality and fits my 127 Mak perfectly. Flo's usual excellent customer service in getting it to me next day is appreciated though.

Good quality dew shield/heater, the outer casing is quite stiff but has a felt lining so is a snug fit on my 127mm scope, the velcro catch is really strong so when it is attached it is not going to move, also it gives off enough heat to stop my scope misting up, as it seamed you only had to breathe in it's direction and you could not see anything, it is well worth the money, the silicone cable is very flexible so is easy to tuck out of the way when attaching to your rig, a good buy, very pleased.
