Have been experiencing some connectivity problems with my existing cables so decided to replace them. Very impressed with the build quality and operation of the Lynx Astro cables supplied, Great service from FLO as well

It's amazing how much more easily I can now pick the handset up and put it back down without the cable getting caught on something. Highly recommended!

It may be a bit more expensive, but the difference in quality of this cable over the original makes it worthwhile. The sockets feels secure and the extra length allows me to move around the scope with more confidence. Highly recommended. In a way, I wish my older cable had failed sooner!

Why can't Skywatcher put decent cables on an expensive mount.

Cable arrived within 48 hrs of ordering. Excellent very good quality - only had the opportunity to use once due to weather but worked exactly as expected.

I purchased this for my Skywatcher EQ6-R mount with SynScan hand held controller. It is a nice upgrade (longer and more flexible) compared with the Skywatcher cable that originally came with the mount. I can now rest the SynScan controller on my knee while looking down the eyepiece of my telescope whereas when I tried to do that with the original cable the controller would be pulled away from me. There is a very similar Lynx Astro cable (looks the same and same price) for Skywatcher AZ mounts on the FLO website and by mistake I nearly ordered the wrong one. However the lovely people at FLO intercepted the package just as it was about to leave the warehouse and swapped the two cables over for me. Well done FLO !

Excellent cable does exactly what it's supposed to do. Makes it much easier to view the screen whilst star aligning, while not pulling the handset or disturbing the mount

Nice Solid heavy cable. Maybe to heavy? Have had this cable plugged into my AZ-EQ6_GT since May this year. If I take the weight of the cable on the mount end ie place one of the coils over the power lead, it will work sometimes, otherwise nothing but error messages "Both Axis No Response" or "No Link To Mount" or Dec/Alt No Response". 3 other normal cables + Cat 6 cable all work 100%

Exceptional quality cable, well worth the price.

Has a quality feel about it and has a protective cover surrounding the plastic clip. The real benefit is the extra length of cable. This makes life so much easier and hassle free around the mount when in operation. It used to be a regular occurrence to either jolt the scope or have the cable snag around the counterweight shaft.... all in the dark and at the most awkward of bodily angles to fix. This sorts that problem out.
