Main mirror cover for Skywatcher Newton 130PDS
You've probably noticed that your shots have a "halo" around the stars with longer exposures. The aperture ring avoids or significantly reduces the "bloating" of stars in deep-sky images. The installation on the Newtonian is very easy. It is not even necessary to remove the main mirror from the mirror cell. Simply remove the primary mirror from the tube and attach the ring to the holes provided with the existing screws. All you have to do is open the screws, put the ring in between and screw everything back together. The ring also fits many other Newtons with the same diameter. If you have any questions, just write to us.The aperture ring is printed from special PLA. Never use a solar filter in combination with the aperture ring in your Newton! In the worst case, excessive heating of the inside of the tube can cause the aperture ring to heat up too much and damage your primary mirror.

♦ Intended for the Skywatcher 130PDS, but also fits many other Newtonians with a 130 mm mirror diameter ♦ Easy assembly ♦ Lightweight plastic design
